Application Technical Customer Support Position
OHM Systems has openings in Cincinnati (office is in Woodlawn) for Application Technical Customer Support. This is a full time position. If you are experienced, knowledgeable and hard working, this could be your opportunity. This position requires some travel.
Job Summary:
This position is the first line support to existing OHM’s MRP/ERP application client base. You will be supporting our existing client base on a telnet GUI version 8 and our new client contracts on OHM’s totally Web Centric OHMWeb version 9 application. This position also handles additional technical, networking, peripherals, and third party application supported in conjunction with OHM’s standard applications.
Duties:
- First line support for all questions and issues called in, emailed or faxed to our customer service team.
- Testing of new products, programs and projects.
- Data mapping, conversion
- Network, hardware, OS troubleshooting
- Resource and liaison between clients and OHM’s senior technical staff.
- Develop new reports, report formats, screens, and print forms
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with technical support, application support, programming or similar.
- Any technical level in networks, operating systems, peripheral experience
- Conceptual understanding and experience with conversions, data files, and data mapping
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Excellent oral communication skills with above average written skills
- Minimum 45 wpm keyboarding skills
- Minimum 1 year of any type of first line customer support and/or with end users.
- Degree in Information Systems or related field required
Travel:
All positions at OHM require some travel. The amount of travel and frequency depends upon duties and level skills of the individual. Ranges of travel are 15% - 50% per year. That percentage includes local day trips as well as overnight or multiple overnights.

Salary and other related compensations are tied to merit, ability and value add of the individuals in the position.
