PURPLE CELL OPPORTUNITIES
 
 

The PURPLE Cell consists of a variety of positions that represent our business support team. These are departments of Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Sales, General Administration, Operations and Executive Administration.

Below for each department as noted is a brief description of the types of duties and responsibilities associated to those positions and departments with a “global” note of perquisite. When positions are published specifically to fill a department requirement any additional or different perquisite will be in those individual documents.

ACCOUNTING

General accounting and Bookkeeping specific to the Accounts Receivable. This is not a collections position. The AR process had many elements to its requirements due to the many facets to AR. These positions deal with progressive and milestone billing against projects and contracts, sales tax related items in the state of Ohio, deposits on contracts, billing of monthly and quarterly processes, trips and expenses reconciliation for billing or internal requirements. 

Perquisite /Requirements for this type of position
Require computer literate with minimum keyboard skills of not less then 40wpm. Excellent oral and written communications. Extreme detail orientation. Must be excellent with numbers and use of numbers, word problems and interruption of concepts. Basic accounting and/or bookkeeping practices. NOTE: this is NOT a data entry position. The candidate must have an understanding of debit and credit reconciliation and application.  Requires some similar field related experience of 1 to 2 years minimum.  Must be a team player in the true sense of helping out as needed in areas or with individuals to obtain positive results.

This position has both full and part time openings. Our normal office hours are between 8am-5:30pm, this position has for full time a flex time of 8 or 8:30 start time with a 5 or 5:30pm end of day time, including a 1 hour lunch break. Part time hours may be 4-5 hours three days a week or 3-4 hours five days a week.  Part time hours can be reviewed on a case by case need.

ADVANCED finance positions are available in a dual roll of office administrator and operations.
MARKETING & SALES

Marketing – two levels of this department are available.

Marketing Assistant and Marketing Director.

Marketing Assistance
works with all details of OHM collateral. Brochure design and layout, advertisement releases, articles, press release, class room presentation, covers, banners, trade show requirements for display.  Works with Marketing Director and /or Sales personnel and on occasion senior members of the technical department for assistance in documentation and other support presentation items.

Perquisite /requirements
Must have understanding of position from a sales and marketing perceptive. Absolutely must command oral and written communications. Requires a personable and professional personality and ability to communicate with various levels of editors, writers, magazines and businesses to help market brand the product name.  Minimum keyboard experience of 55wpm. Must have experience with various software packages such as publisher, power point, Corel draw and more. Whatever additional packages come about must have the ability to learn and apply new methods. Minimum 1 year of education specifically related to marketing or experience in a marketing environment.

Marketing Director
Similar and same to the Assistance roll but with more responsibility and interaction with businesses and relationships to build the market name brand.

SALES
Aalways looking for good quality people willing to learn and understand the business and have excellent follow up and personal skill sets for communicating with a variety of levels of people.

We have both telemarketing and survey positions
Full sales and demo positions.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
These positions are similar to a “receptionist” type of work. Though we do not have a “receptionist desk, as our clients and business associates are all by appointment only and we do have drop in traffic. These individuals handle the default to the phone system. The phone system is completely automated and the General Administrative person is completely in charge of maintaining the routing and update to the system, taking all the callers that enter “zero” for the operator vs. a selected option on the main menu. Additional these positions assist with proofing of documentation, billing backup and other similar documents. They also maintain the master online calendar system and travel updates to the master calendar. Track travel documents pre/post trips done by any member of the company.

Depending on the level of experience and abilities more responsibility can be added to these positions thus related to level of compensation.

Perquisite/Requirements
Absolutely must have outstanding, personable and professional phone voice and manner. Requires an individual taking pride in their work and making a difference in the process.  Minimum 45wpm keyboard. All messages are logged and 90% of the position deals with entering or working or updating in the computer system. Must be computer savvy.

Administration / Operations or Executive Level Administration

These are advanced positions within the company for assistance directly to Executive and Director Levels. They assist and are involved in all aspects of the business. Working on basic administration, contract, legal documents as well as general projects. Projects for buildings, contacting maintenance, building repair, new construction, health care plans, 401K programs, bids for office related equipment. They are responsible for assistance in the training program for new hires and much more.

Perquisite/Requirements of these individuals
Outstanding business savvy. Excellent computer skills, minimum 65wpm keyboard. General understanding of all business aspects from sales, finance, general operations. Must be able to interact and manage people and projects successfully. Working with vendors, customers and internal staff including the technical staff. Need and individual that is not afraid to rollup their selves and be part of all processes and growth in the company. A directed, confident, self starter. Someone who understands loyalty, confidentially and business processes. Who wants to be involved and work within a team structure. Someone who can delegate but at any point in time can also accomplish the task themselves. Excellent manger of time and task orientation. This is NOT an entry level position.
